Living up to its name that translates as ‘Beside the Sea’, Tepian Laut enchants with a breathtaking view of the emerald green Andaman Sea with picturesque Tarutao Islands on the horizon. The alfresco-deck has been built around centuries old rainforest trees, making them part of the overall ambiance. Two canopied pavilions provide a dreamy venue for a romantic evening with your loved-one. A band of strollers delights with live entertainment.

Specialized in authentic local cuisine, the menu features culinary creations from all 13 Malaysian states. Small symbols will let you know whether a dish is vegetarian, spicy, prepared with your health in mind or incorporating ingredients from sustainable fishing and farming.

Start your evening with a deep fried soft shell crab accompanied by pomegranate and mango salsa or delight in the banana flower blossom with Tukun Perak Seafood, coriander salad, and kalamansi sugar dressing. When it comes to the main course, order one of the Chef’s signature creations: The pan-grilled tiger prawn with pan-fried foie gras and bean sprouts kerabu with wasabi mayo and pomegranate salsa is a true revelation and the wood oven-baked lamb rack infused with homemade spice trader’s paste is one of the absolute favourites among returning guests. The perfect finale? Treat yourself to a pineapple caramel pudding with mango sauce and banana chips, a famous Serawakian delicacy, or indulge in sweet red bean porridge with coconut cream from Perak.
