CULINARY SYMPHONY AT THE WESTIN LANGKAWI RESORT & SPA

By Kamila Delart

If you are a gourmet and lucky enough to be visiting Langkawi in the last week of October, dining at SEASONAL TASTES, a dreamlike venue with a mesmerizing ocean view, is sure to become one of the highlights of your holiday stay!

Participating in Malaysia International Gourmet Festival 2013, the restaurant lures with a truly tantalizing four-course Festival Menu that will entice all your senses.

The globally renowned fine dining event revolves in its 13th year around the theme ‘Cool Chefs – Cooking with Attitude’, showcasing the most talented culinary artists from all over the country.

While proudly celebrated by the entire Westin team, the invitation to take part as the only restaurant in Kedah does not come as a surprise! The passionate Executive Chef, CHANDRAN NARAYANAN, was in the past not only the Head Chef of ‘The Loaf’ – a bistro & restaurant owned by the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir, but catered for many years also to the royal family in Brunei.

Intrigued? With only a few days left to experience the Epicurean Festival Menu, you better hurry up and make reservations!

Should you be concerned about driving after sampling all the luscious wines that complete the unique culinary experience, there is no better finale than a peaceful night in Westin’s famous ‘Heavenly Bed’.
