Passionate about promoting Asian talent, Stylo International paired up with Mercedes-Benz to bring together the most gifted fashion designers from across the region.

A stylish collaboration of glamorous couture and iconic cars, the MERCEDES-BENZ STYLO ASIA FASHION WEEK was a major success – attracting designers from China, India, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore and, of course, from Malaysia.

With one of the highlights being the launch of a Rainforest Fashion Initiative, a green movement inspired by the colors and shapes of the jungle, there was no contest when it came to selecting the perfect location for the event!

The enchanting landscapes of LangkawiGeopark provided astunning backdrop for the fashion shoots, and The Andaman, a Luxury Collection Resort set in the heart of the rainforest, was the ultimate venue for the Grand Opening Gala. With ceilings decorated with jungle foliage, floors covered by dry leafs and the catwalk finale accompanied by ‘tropical rain’ pouring over the models, the rainforest illusion was complete.

Supported by MyCreative Ventures and IM4U – new initiatives under the Malaysian Government and Langkawi Tourism Development Authority, Lada Eco-Tourism, the fashion show was attended by international media, putting once again a spotlight on our beautiful island.
