Aspiring chefs from all over Langkawi are invited to submit their best Malay dish for a place in the final, and the chance to compete for a PRESTIGIOUS TITLE along with an AMAZING PRICE:

          ♦  Three-night stay for two in a Beach Villa at the Resort
          ♦   an award-winning Raja & Ratu couple’s ritual at The Geo Spa
          ♦   guided Mangroves & Eagles Safari for two

               The winning recipe will become part of Ikan-Ikan’s menu!

The competition is open to all residents of Langkawi who have a passion for cooking Malay cuisine. Participants are to submit their personal particulars alongside details of a 45-minute stove-based, traditional Malay dish that they would prepare if chosen. No previous professional cooking experience is permitted.

Submission closes on May 25, 2015 with finalists announced on May 27. The top 10 aspiring chefs will compete on Monday 1. June in a cook-off under the watchful gaze of three top Southeast Asian culinarians: Malaysia Master Chef judge, Chef Jo (Johari); talented star of AFC’s ‘Amazing Food Challenge’, Chef Sherson; and Four Seasons own Langkawi born and bred Chef Adee. The top five from this round will stay at the Resort, advancing to ‘The Finals’ on 2nd June.
