The holiday for a couple ended in a tragedy when they were swept off by the current while bathing in the sea at Pantai Tengah on Langkawi.
Langkawi police chief Supt Ishak Hassan said Yuhin Azlan, 31, from Batu Caves, Selangor, and wife, Norita Dahari, 29, with other members of their families, were bathing in the sea near the hotel they were staying when they got into difficulties about 6pm yesterday.
He said Yuhin’s body was found about 8.20am today about 500 metres from where he was last seen and the search was still on for his wife.
