A new Star in Langkawi ?
“Syarmiemim Binti Mohamad Zul, Nickname Mimi, gets noticed as a new singing talent in Langkawi.
She is just 17 years old, but started to train herself to be a singer since she was 8. She has been in some singing competitions (“Bintang Kecil” competitions) like the Water Festival singing competition, and performed as a solo singer for her school Serdah Negeri Kerbangsaan, in Padang Matsirat.
Her favorite singers are Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, P. Ramlee, and Celine Dion. She loves the way Datuk Siti Nurhaliza is singing because she always smiles.
Her parents really support her so she has time for singing. She also likes to write and create new songs. Here you can hear her singing:
