RECYCLING IN LANGLAWI
Finally there’s a place that takes plastic bottles in Langkawi. They also recycle just about everything else: metal, paper, cardboard, wood. It is located next to the small petrol station on Jalan Ulu Melaka. If coming from Kuah by Jalan Padang Gaong, take a left turn at the Renault dealership and look for this scrapyard with the strange blue fence (looks like roofing sheets). If coming from Cenang or Padang Matsirat, this is just after the petrol station. Please tell your friends.
Also forwarded by Patrick: “At the airport and in Teo Soon Huat there are battery, mobile phone and charger recycle bins. Also there is a glass recycling bin downstairs from the LADA building beside the food court. There are several recycle bins outside the airport too. “
