Hailing from Russia, the enthusiastic practitioners and acrobatic yoga teachers, kite-surfing instructors, street artists and seekers of the world and inner space travel around the world – pursuing their dreams and inspiring with their passion those around them.
Daring one’s fantasy, the project uses a truly unique approach. – Although one that has been previously tested! Enthusiasts in Russia designed, built and launched dozens of boats with hulls made of plastic containers. And the youngest son of the Rothschild family recently completed a trip around the world on a sailing catamaran built with plastic bottles. So why not give it a try here in Langkawi?!
Cooled in a freezer and then hermetically closed with lids, plastic bottles naturally expand when exposed to the sun – becoming strong and solid. The perfect building material for pipes of required length that can be later attached to the main frame of a catamaran. Add sails and voilà – the boat is ready to plough the ocean!
While a number of resorts and restaurants will supply large quantities of bottles, every single bottle counts. So look over the next few days for collection points along the main road in Pantai Cenang!
